Annual Retreat for Perpetually Professed Fathers and Brothers of the Sacred Heart Congregation – 2025

On the afternoon of August 9, 2025, at the Pastoral Center of the Diocese of Da Nang, the annual retreat for perpetually professed Fathers and Brothers officially commenced with the theme: “My soul longs to belong to You.” This is a precious time for the Fathers and Brothers to quiet their hearts, return to the Lord, and renew their spiritual life.

The retreat takes place from August 9 to 15 under the guidance of Fr. Joseph Nguyễn Ngọc Vinh, SDB. Each day unfolds in a spirit of attentive listening, prayer, and meditation. The retreat master’s reflections invite participants to deepen their personal relationship with God, fostering an unceasing longing to belong entirely to Him—echoing the sentiments of Psalm 63.

This annual retreat is not only a time to dwell in the presence of God, but also an opportunity for the Fathers and Brothers to meet, share life experiences, and support one another in the fraternal spirit of consecrated life and priestly ministry.

We earnestly ask the faithful to join in prayer that our Fathers and Brothers may be filled with the grace of the Holy Spirit, so that their hearts may be renewed, their apostolic zeal rekindled, and their ministry bear abundant spiritual fruits for the Congregation and the Church.
