The sacred atmosphere of the 2025 La Vang Marian Pilgrimage, Archdiocese of Huế, the Congregation of the Sacred Heart of Huế has set up free drinking water stations to serve pilgrims coming from near and far to honor Our Lady. At each station, the religious brothers and volunteers of the Congregation take turns from early morning until evening, offering refreshing water along with warm greetings and welcoming smiles.
Fr. Peter Vũ Văn Vượng shared: “We hope that this cool drink will not only quench physical thirst, but also serve as a sign of God’s love for each person.”
This simple yet love-filled service has helped to foster an atmosphere of communion and charity at the Pilgrimage, reminding us that every act of service – no matter how small – can become a living prayer offered to God through the hands of Our Lady of La Vang.
The Congregation of the Sacred Heart of Huế extends heartfelt gratitude to benefactors (Ms. Yến – USA, Mrs. Đương – USA, Ms. Mỹ – Saigon, Ms. Sen – Bình Điền, Ms. Chín – Đà Lạt…) and collaborators: Sacred Heart student volunteers, seminarians, and novices, who have generously contributed their time, resources, and companionship to this charitable work. Thanks to everyone’s joint effort, each bottle of cool water and each friendly smile reached countless pilgrims – a living sign of God’s love in the midst of His people.
